It is widely used in polyolefins (polyethylene PE, polypropylene PP), polyamide (PA), polycarbonate (PC), PBT, and ABS.

It has very low toxicity and is soluble in organic solvents such as benzene, chloroform, cyclohexane, and ethyl acetate, but insoluble in water.
