UV-3035 does not contain phenolic hydroxyl groups in its molecular structure, providing excellent chemical stability. Through modification of its ester structure, it exhibits good compatibility with coating resins.

It is particularly suitable for coating systems based on acrylic resins, urea–formaldehyde resins, epoxy resins, polyester resins, polyurethane resins, and nitrocellulose, and is especially effective in topcoat applications to improve light resistance.

It is also suitable for polystyrene (PS), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polycarbonate (PC), styrenic copolymers, as well as acrylic and vinyl systems, gel coatings, and food container coatings.

UV-3035 shows good solubility in methyl ethyl ketone (MEK). MEK is highly compatible with acrylic resins, allowing UV-3035 to be easily used as a 30% solution with good miscibility.
