This product has low volatility, low loss during thermal processing, is non-staining and non-discoloring.

It is commonly used together with hindered phenolic antioxidants such as Antioxidant 1010 and 1076 to enhance thermal stability.

It provides stronger antioxidant performance than DLTDP and can be used in polyolefins, styrenic polymers, ABS resin, and related materials.

It is soluble in benzene and toluene, slightly soluble in ethanol, and insoluble in water.
