UV-3030 is a high-molecular-weight ultraviolet absorber with excellent thermal stability and very low volatility. It is used to protect plastic and coating products from ultraviolet radiation in sunlight.

UV-3030 is particularly suitable for polymers processed at higher temperatures, such as polycarbonate (PC), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), and polyethersulfone.
