This product is generally not used alone and is commonly compounded with phenolic antioxidants such as Antioxidant 1010 or 1076 to improve stability during thermal processing of polymers.

It is widely used in polyolefins (such as polyethylene PE and polypropylene PP), polyamide (PA), polycarbonate (PC), ABS resin, and other polymer materials.
