Enhancing Analytical Excellence: Quality Control Department Skills Competition Successfully Concludes
To deepen analytical expertise and enhance quality control capabilities, while further igniting employees’ enthusiasm for learning and innovation, Disheng Technology’s labor union recently organized a successful skills competition for analysts in the Quality Control Department. Centered around the theme of “Promoting Learning, Practice, and Application Through Competition,” the event has now been successfully concluded.

Focusing on key aspects of daily laboratory analysis work of light stabilizers, the competition was divided into two core segments: a theoretical knowledge assessment and a practical skills assessment, offering a comprehensive evaluation of participants’ professional competence.
Theoretical Knowledge Assessment:
This segment focused on core topics such as principles of chemical analysis, quality control standards, and industry regulations. Participants demonstrated solid knowledge reserves through calm and thoughtful responses, showcasing their strong grasp of theoretical foundations.
Practical Skills Assessment:
This segment covered critical operational procedures including instrument calibration, sample preparation, equipment handling, and result interpretation. Contestants executed each task with skilled technique and strict adherence to protocols, fully embodying the high standards and rigorous demands of quality inspection work.
To ensure fairness and transparency, the competition featured a panel of judges led by the company’s Chief Engineer. Adhering to strict scoring criteria, the judges evaluated each participant from three dimensions: procedural compliance, result accuracy, and task efficiency. Leaders from various departments were also present to observe and provide guidance, reflecting the company’s strong emphasis on quality control and talent development.
After two days of intense competition, the winners emerged. The General Manager presented awards and certificates to the winners, encouraging them to carry forward their spirit of dedication and excellence, to mentor others, and to apply the competitive insights and refined techniques to daily operations—further enhancing the precision and reliability of analytical data and laying a solid foundation for continued quality improvement.
The success of this skills competition not only provided a platform for laboratory staff to demonstrate their skills, showcase their capabilities, and promote exchange, but also effectively inspired a company-wide drive to identify gaps, improve technical ability, and elevate overall performance. The competition achieved its intended goal of “learning through competition and applying what has been learned.”
Although the event has concluded, the pursuit of excellence continues. Looking ahead, the Quality Control Department will take this competition as a new starting point to foster a culture that values technical proficiency and talent, and accelerate the development of a high-caliber team with both skill and integrity—delivering stronger technical and quality support for Disheng Technology’s high-quality production of UV absorbers, hindered amine light stabilizers, and cosmetics UV filters.
